About two years ago I was teaching high school and looking for other sources of income for the 3 long summer months where I didn't have to plan lessons and teach teenagers. I wanted something that was flexible (so that I could work as much or little as I wanted each week) and something I could do from home. In looking for such a dream job I stumbled across an add for Filthy Rich Writers, also known as the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy. I had never heard of copywriting before, but after watching the intro video I was excited to start my next move.
So what is copywriting? In short, it's the words in advertising. Billboards, radio ads, emails, and even commercials have copy in them and somebody like you wrote that copy. Isn't that awesome? Ever since starting the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy course I have loved looking at all of the different copy out there and analyzing it.
