Easy Homemade Pie Crusts

Hey friends!


This recipe is a quick and simple way to make homemade pie crusts. You can knock this out in about half an hour or less and get all of your pies for Thanksgiving (or any other gathering) prepared in one go. If you only need 1-2 crusts you can easily save the others for later by wrapping them in plastic wrap and tin foil and freezing them. Hope you enjoy!


Easy Homemade Pie Crusts

3 C flour

1 1/2 C shortening

1 1/2 tsp salt

3/4 C water


I like to mix the flour, shortening, and salt together first to make sure they get mixed in well and then add the water last. Once the dough is well combined, split it into 5-6 balls. Roll out each one of a floured surface before transferring to pie tin.
